Subject: Reply Briefs Filed – Republic Wind Project

All,

On January 13, 2020, parties connected with the Republic Wind application pending with the Ohio Power Siting Board filed the rebuttal briefs on behalf of their clients.  The briefs can be viewed at:
 
As we understand the process, the next steps are:
  • The Administrative Law Judges who presided over the the Adjudicatory Hearing will review the testimony, notes they took, and all the briefs filed by all the parties involved,
  • The Administrative Law Judges will write a report on their findings and present the report to the seven-member Ohio Power Siting Board for review,
  • The Ohio Power Siting Board will review the report from the Administrative Law Judges and issue a decision, approving or denying the application of Republic Wind.
  • We do not know the timeline for all this to happen, but will do our best to keep you updated on the latest developments.

There are several hearings of note scheduled in the months ahead which all of us need to keep ourselves available for. They are:

  • Adjudicatory Hearing for Emerson Creek Wind – April 14, 2020, at 10 a.m., in Hearing Room 11-A, at the offices of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, 180 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio,
