Wind farm would consist of up to 47 wind turbines in Seneca and Sandusky counties, with a total generating capacity of up to 200
Wind power currently provides the United States with four times the amount of energy provided by solar technologies. But that doesn’t mean energy from the wind can replace fossil fuels, despite the claims of many environmentalists and advocates of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s misguided Green New Deal (GND).
Wind power is hampered by many limitations, including:
LEF does not support the Icebreaker Wind Turbine project, which would eventually lead to the construction of 1,500 wind turbines eight miles off the coast of Cleveland…
Solar panels and wind turbines are making electricity significantly more expensive, a major new study by a team of economists from the University of Chicago finds.

Ohio House Bill HB 223 aims to reduce the setback distance for the siting of industrial wind turbines.
Main section from within the Bill (entire bill attached)
“The rules also shall prescribe a minimum setback for a wind turbine of an economically significant wind farm. That minimum shall be equal to a horizontal distance, from the
turbine’s base to the property line of the wind farm property, equal to one and one-tenth times the total height of the turbine structure as measured from its base to the tip of its highest blade and be at least one thousand one hundred twenty-five feet in horizontal distance from the tip of the turbine’s nearest blade at ninety degrees Continue reading EMAIL CORRECTION….SAWU***Action ALERT*** Bill to Reduce Setbacks for Wind Turbines Introduced in Ohio House

As someone who is eco-conscious, why are you against renewable energy and wind energy in particular?
I am definitely not against renewable energy and I do think it’s important that as a country we make investments to develop technologies such as wind energy. However, because of the amount of tax breaks and subsidies the wind industry is getting, they are not focused on developing the technology so much as they are trying to get as many of these giant wind turbines erected as fast and at as Continue reading they are not focused on developing the technology so much as they are trying to get subsidies
