The official Seneca Wind withdrawal is attached. Congratulations to Seneca Anti Wind Union Wind Warriors! Your hard work and never quit attitude benefits all wind warriors and we are grateful for all you do.
No bus reservations for the now cancelled August 26 adjudicatory hearing are needed.
Remember–Republic Wind and Emerson Creek Wind projects remain active. Seneca, Sandusky, Erie, Huron and Crawford County areas are targeted by big wind.
The email announcement from EHAW follows.
One down and two to go. Seneca Wind has officially withdrawn the application with the Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB) to put over 70 industrial size wind turbines in Seneca County. Attached is the document from them to the OPSB. Congrats to all those who assisted in fighting this project. There is now no longer a need to charter a bunch of buses for a not needed adjudicatory hearing on 08/26/2019.
Now we must concentrate on Republic Wind and Emerson Creek Wind. Don’t forget there are three other projects being considered for the Seneca, Sandusky, Erie, Huron and Crawford County areas.
Score one for the good guys!
